RH-ISAC Unveils 2025 Year in Review

Record membership growth and the launch of vital fraud initiatives help fortify cybersecurity in the retail and hospitality industry.

VIENNA, VA (27 January 2026) —The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) today announced the release of its 2025 Year in Review report. The report details a landmark year of expansion, featuring continued growth in membership numbers, the launch of critical fraud-fighting initiatives, and a strengthened global footprint across the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.

A Growing Community of Defense

In 2025, the RH-ISAC community reached new heights, finishing the year with 52 new Core Members, bringing the total Core membership to 333 organizations. The year also saw a strategic refinement of the Associate Member program to prioritize high-value contributions to the community’s mission.

Member engagement reached 96%, with 59% of members actively sharing intelligence with the community. This collaborative spirit resulted in nearly 20,000 total shares across all platforms and more than 12,300 attendances for calls and webinars.

Strategic Initiatives & Fraud Defense

RH-ISAC launched several high-impact initiatives in 2025 to stay ahead of evolving threats:

  • Global Leadership: Appointed Board of Directors Regional Vice Chairs for the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA regions.
  • Enhanced Fraud Defense: Launched the Fraud Defense Forum event series and joined Meta’s Threat Exchange Platform to report and track fraud signals.
  • New Collaboration Groups: Established specialized groups for Gaming, Privacy, Infrastructure, AI, and Doing Business in China.
  • Data-Driven Benchmarking: Published the first-ever interactive CISO Benchmark dashboard, allowing members to filter data by sector and revenue.

Intelligence and Events at Scale

The organization delivered an unprecedented volume of actionable intelligence, producing 959 total reports , including 944 intelligence reports and 247 Daily Dark Web Summary Reports.

RH-ISAC also expanded its physical and virtual presence, hosting 46 events that attracted more than 1,700 attendees. This included 14 regional workshops in cities ranging from San Francisco to Sydney, and the annual Cyber Intelligence Summit in St. Louis, which earned a 4.73 out of 5 satisfaction rating.
