What is the Benchmark?
The annual RH-ISAC Benchmark Survey is our signature research study that helps security teams understand how their responsibilities, key initiatives, and budget allocation compare to peers in the community.
This year we are expanding the survey to include the traditional CISO survey, as well as a new practitioner-focused survey, in order to understand how job responsibilities and priorities differ across the spectrum of security roles.
CISO Benchmark Survey (CISO Members and Eligible Non-Members)
Practitioner Benchmark Survey (Members Only)
We encourage everyone to participate in their respective survey by the October 14 deadline.
CISO Benchmark
The results of this study can equip CISOs with the knowledge they need to educate stakeholders on investment priorities needed to mature their InfoSec programs. We can only provide these important benchmarks for the retail and hospitality sector with data supplied by our industry CISOs, which is why it is vital that we get as much participation as possible.
This survey is open to RH-ISAC member CISO and CISO-level equivalents, as well as CISOs currently employed at companies eligible for RH-ISAC membership. Learn more about membership eligibility.
Practitioner Benchmark
The RH-ISAC has nearly 2,500 information security practitioners in its community and is uniquely positioned to survey how individual skillsets align with job responsibilities.
We are asking all of our non-CISO level members to complete this survey, to help us better understand employee demographics, the challenges and priorities staff have in executing daily job functions, and how these roles align to security priorities and initiatives.
This survey is open to RH-ISAC members only.
