Bluestem Brands, RH-ISAC and Venable to Present Cybersecurity Panel at Retail Law Conference

Washington, DC—As many companies cite legal restrictions as a reason for not participating in cyber information sharing, Bluestem Brands, Venable LLP and Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) have teamed up to present “Cybersecurity: Better Security Through Collaboration” at the Retail Law Conference, taking place October 10-12, 2018, in Austin, TX.
In addition to sharing the retail and hospitality industries top threats and threat concerns, Suzie Squier, Executive Director of Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) will discuss how companies can better secure their organizations through industry collaboration. John Banghart, Senior Director for Technology Risk Management at Venable LLP, will provide an overview of where we are now in terms of sharing from and with the private sector and the government. Adding the practitioner perspective, Andy Rausch, Senior Counsel at Bluestem Brands, will provide a primer on how information security executives can and should get buy-in first from their legal team.

The Retail Law Conference is the premier event for retail corporate counsel, providing education and networking among general counsel and their teams.
