Washington, DC — Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) today announced Robert Herjavec as a featured speaker at this year’s Retail Cyber Intelligence Summit. He will explore evolving IT trends and the rising cyber security threats retailers face on a daily basis in his session titled, “Fast Forward and Focused.” Robert will also share a few secrets from inside the Shark Tank and share advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
In addition to serving as a host of ABC’s Shark Tank, Robert Herjavec has a deep background in cybersecurity. He is a dynamic entrepreneur and has built and sold several IT companies. In 2003 he founded Herjavec Group, to provide cybersecurity products and services to enterprise organizations. The group quickly became one of North America’s fastest growing technology firms. Herjavec has served as a cybersecurity advisor for the Government of Canada and participated in the White House Summit on Cybersecurity. In addition to his appearances on Shark Tank, Herjavec is regularly featured in print, digital and TV outlets, offering his views on the threat landscape, on emerging technologies and on the need for a proactive security framework.
