Vienna, VA (November 21, 2023) – The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) announced the results of the 2023 Board of Directors elections today. Diane Brown, vice president of IT risk management at Ulta Beauty, and Jason Stead, CISO for Choice Hotels International, were both re-elected for three-year terms on the board. Ngozi Eze, Global CISO at Levi Strauss and Company, Teresa Joyce, CISO at Williams-Sonoma, and John Scrimsher, Global CISO at Kontoor Brands, were elected as new members of the board.

Diane Brown is the Vice President of IT Risk Management at Ulta Beauty. In this role, Diane is accountable for the security of all systems across the enterprise. She has more than three decades of IT experience in the retail environment and has honed her expertise in information technology leadership with a focus on risk management for the past 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in information security and CISSP/ISSAP certifications.
Ngozi Eze is the Global CISO at Levi Strauss & Co., where he leads the enterprise information security program. His previous executive positions include serving as the Deputy CISO for the Federal Reserve System and chief business security officer at ADP. Ngozi holds several industry certifications, including the CISSP, ISSMP, CIPP/US, CISA, CISM, Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certifications, in addition to an MBA degree from Kennesaw State University and a bachelor’s degree from Wilberforce University. He also holds a graduate certificate in cybersecurity and policy from Harvard University.
Teresa Joyce is the CISO at Williams-Sonoma and provides cybersecurity leadership for Williams-Sonoma brands, including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, West Elm, Mark and Graham, Rejuvenation and Outward. Prior to Williams-Sonoma, Teresa served in several technology and cybersecurity roles, including deputy chief information officer, information security officer (ISO), and deputy chief information security officer. Teresa has a Master of Science in cybersecurity and holds CISSP, CISM, CISA credentials.
John Scrimsher is Kontoor Brands’ Global CISO, where he oversees the security and compliance of iconic brands such as Wrangler, Lee, and Rock & Republic jeans. John has nearly 30 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership and a background across multiple industries. His previous roles include CISO positions at GM Defense and Fuel Cells Systems Manufacturing. John is pursuing an MBA, and he holds a bachelor of science, and certifications from ISC2 and NACD.
Jason Stead is the CISO for Choice Hotels International. Jason has more than 20 years of experience in IT risk management and information security. Previously, he served as VP of information security for First National Bank of Arizona, now known as CIT Bank. Earlier in his career, he held senior information security roles with Nationwide Insurance, as well as management consultant and risk management roles with Ernst & Young. He received his MBA from Arizona State University and his BS from Iowa State University. Currently, he serves on industry advisory boards for Boise State University and Grand Canyon University. Jason holds CISSP, CISM, and CISA security certifications.
